What this site is

Freeway Keys is an information resource, not a locksmith. We publish plain-English guides for drivers in Los Angeles. We do not dispatch technicians, take bookings, quote jobs, or perform any work.

We do not set prices or give quotes

Any figures in our guides describe typical market costs to help you compare quotes from a licensed locksmith of your own choosing. They are not our prices — we do not set, charge, or collect any.

Verify a license before you hire

California licenses locksmiths through the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) under Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 6980. Before letting anyone work on your car, verify their license at bsis.ca.gov or search.dca.ca.gov.

Honest information

We do not publish fabricated reviews, ratings, license numbers, addresses, or years in business.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California. We may update them; the current version is always the one on this page.
